The Side Panel is where you manage everything about a room — who’s in it, what files and playlists it holds, how it looks, whether it’s streaming or recording, and how it’s configured. It sits on the right-hand side of your screen and is opened using the vertical icon rail next to it. You’ll see the same Side Panel whether you’re actively in a session or looking at a room from the homepage — only a few tabs change depending on where you are.

Opening & Closing the Panel

The Side Panel is opened from the vertical icon rail running down its edge — there’s one icon per tab. Click an icon to open the panel to that tab.
  • Clicking a tab icon opens the panel and switches to that tab
  • Clicking the icon for the tab that’s already open closes the panel

Room vs. Homepage

The Side Panel works the same way whether you’re in a live session or previewing a room from the homepage — but a few tabs and controls are only available in one or the other.

In a live session

All tabs are available, and every action works in real time — muting participants, presenting files, starting a recording, and so on.

From the homepage

Selecting a room from the homepage opens the same Side Panel so you can configure the room ahead of time — organize files, set up streaming, or update settings before your next session starts. A few things require an active session and aren’t available here:
  • Appearance and Chat are hidden — they only apply to a live session
  • Presenting a file to participants
  • Starting or stopping a recording
  • Live participant controls (mute, camera, hide, admitting from the lobby)
