# Release Notes

# 26.2

<sup><kbd>September 19th 2026</kbd></sup>

This release focuses on making the room interface work the way you do: a new Room History log for every session, a side panel you can resize and navigate faster, help and media details brought to the homepage, and a cleaner, more consistent top and bottom bar across every screen.

## What's new

  Every persistent room now keeps a record of its sessions.

  Open **Room History** in the Side Panel — in a live meeting or from the homepage — to see, for each session, who joined, how long it ran, and a timestamped feed of what happened: recordings started and stopped, screen shares, media presented, appearance changes and participant management, each attributed to the person who triggered it.

  * Sessions are listed newest first with date, start and end time, participant count, uploaded files and recordings.
  * Filter the event log by **event type** and by **attendee**, and clear filters in one click.
  * **Export to CSV** — either the filtered event log or the complete session.
  * Hosts and co-hosts can delete a full session record (permanent, with confirmation). Participants don't see Room History at all.
  * Logging can be paused at any time from **Settings → Room Controls**; existing records stay viewable and exportable.

  Drag the handle on the left edge of the side panel to set the width that suits what you're doing. The participant tile grid reflows live as you drag, minimum and maximum widths keep both the panel and the tiles usable, and your chosen width is kept for the rest of the session — including when you switch tabs or close and reopen the panel.

  The side panel now has a persistent vertical navigation on the right-hand side, so media, participants, chat, help and settings are one click away instead of buried in a menu. Chat and Help have moved into the panel, which is collapsed by default and slides in when opened.

  The in-meeting help panel is now available on the homepage too.

  Media assets now have a details page directly on the homepage — review an asset's information and annotations without opening a room first.

  Blur can now be applied in the lobby, before you join, instead of only once you're in the room.

<Card title="Redesigned top and bottom bar" color="#F59E0B" icon="bar-chart">
  The top bar is now identical on the homepage, the lobby and inside a room — logo on the left, uploads and profile on the right — so uploads stay visible and keep progressing as you move between pages. Room management actions (create, search, filter, sort, bulk select and delete) now sit with the room list where they apply.

  The bottom bar is now scoped to what you're doing in a session: speaker, microphone and camera; screen share, whiteboard and toolbar; hand raise, reactions and captions; and your way out.

## Fixes and Smaller Improvements

* Plugins now tell you when they are out of date.
* Toast and error messages have been unified and their wording and colours corrected across the app.
* Homepage room keycards no longer shift when the window is resized.
* Lower-level performance work reduces the memory footprint of reactions.

## Account Activation upon Sign Up

When you create a new Coresee account, you'll now receive a confirmation email. You need to activate your account from that email before you can sign in.

## Screen Share

**Better recovery when your internet connection is unstable:** Screen sharing now recovers more reliably after a brief network interruption. Where a short drop in connection previously ended the share, it will now attempt to restore automatically so you can keep presenting.

## Live Stream Titles

**Live stream titles are now hidden by default:** When you present a live stream in a room — for example from the Adobe or Avid plugin, or streaming from the desktop app — the title of that stream is now **hidden by default**.

## Events

**Filter events by status:** The Event Admin Console now lets you filter your event list by status, so you can quickly narrow down to the events you're actively working on instead of scrolling through everything you've ever created.
