# Guest Co-Host

A guest co-host is someone who joined a Coresee room without signing in to a Coresee account, and was then given co-host access by the host. It lets a guest help run the session — managing participants, files, and recording — without needing to create an account first.

There's no separate process for guests — the host promotes a guest the same way they'd promote any participant.

    Guests appear under the nickname they entered when joining — there's no email shown next to their name.

    The guest's role updates immediately — no confirmation step, and no sign-in prompt. Their Side Panel now shows co-host controls.

## **When the role ends**

Guest co-host access only lasts for the current session.

* **It ends when the session ends.** Co-host access doesn't carry over — if you rejoin the room later, you come in as a regular participant unless the host promotes you again.
* **The host can also demote you at any time** during the session, returning you to participant.
