# Customize your Event

Each of the four event stages — Event Announcement, Virtual Lobby, Live Broadcast, and Post-Event — has its own set of styling and content options in the Configuration Page.

## **Event Announcement**

The Event Announcement is the first thing attendees see — the page that's live before your event begins.

* **Text Content**: Set the Title, Subtitle, and Text Color.
* **Background Color**: Choose a solid color or a gradient.
* **Media Backgrounds**: Add a video or image background using a public URL.
* **Visual Effects:** Adjust opacity and blend mode to control how your background color and media interact.

  **What counts as a "public URL"?** It needs to be a direct link to the media file itself — one that ends in a file extension like `.mp4`, `.jpg`, or `.png`, and that loads the raw file the instant it's opened, with no sign-in and no page around it.<br /><br />A YouTube link won't work here. A YouTube URL doesn't point to a video file — it points to a webpage that loads a full player, ads, and JavaScript around the video. Coresee needs to fetch the actual file directly, not render a webpage, so YouTube (and similar sites like Vimeo) can't be used as a background source.<br /><br />To get a working link, host the file somewhere that serves direct file access — for example, a cloud storage bucket (like Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage) with public read access enabled, or a CDN. Opening the link in an incognito browser window is a quick way to check: if the file plays or downloads immediately with no login or page around it, it will work as a background.

## **Virtual Lobby**

The Virtual Lobby is where attendees land and enter their details just before the broadcast begins.

### **Form settings**

* **Fields:** Set the form title and the information attendees must provide to join.
* **Passcode:** Optionally require a passcode to join, for controlled access.
* **Appearance:** Customize the form's overall style and layout.

### **Text & visuals**

* **Content:** Define the lobby's Title and Subtitle.
* **Background:** Same background options as the Event Announcement stage — solid color, gradient, or media background.

## **Live Broadcast**

Live Broadcast is the main event page, shown once you start streaming. Chat settings, configured alongside it, control how attendees interact during the broadcast.

* **Title Visibility:** Toggle the title on or off, with styling options for when it's shown.
* **Header Styling:** Customize the title text, background color, and border radius.
* **Branding:** Add a logo to the header. Paste a publicly available URL.
* **Player Settings:** Adjust the border radius of the media player.
* **Background Options:** Set a solid background color or a gradient.

  Unlike Event Announcement, Virtual Lobby, and Post-Event, Live Broadcast doesn't support a video or image media background — only solid color and gradient options are available here.

### **Chat**

These settings control how the chat panel looks and behaves during Live Broadcast — not how it's moderated. For moderation, see [**Moderate Chat**](/event-chat).

* **Availability:** Turn Chat on or off.
* **Chat Label:** Customize the chat title.
* **URL Filtering:** Enable URL Blocking — links sent in chat are automatically replaced with a "Link Removed" message.
* **Visual Styling:** Customize the chat's background, border, and text colors.

## **Post-Event & downloads**

Post-Event is what attendees see once the broadcast ends. It's styled the same way as the Event Announcement stage.
