# Connect the Stream

Your event needs a video source before it can go live. This article covers where to find your stream credentials and how to connect a source — either a Coresee Room or an external RTMP encoder.

### **Event Streams**

Found on the Configuration Page, Event Streams is where you'll find the connection details for your outbound broadcast.

* **RTMP URL** — the endpoint your streaming source connects to.
* **Channel ID** — identifies which event the stream belongs to.
* **Stream URL** — the full connection address combining the above.

## **Streaming into your event**

Coresee accepts a stream from either a Coresee Room or any external RTMP encoder, using the credentials from Event Streams.

      Inside a Coresee Room, create an outbound feed and connect it using the Stream URL and Channel ID from Event Streams.

      The Room acts as your live mixer — combine multiple cameras, slides, and layouts before they reach your audience.

      Any standard RTMP encoder — OBS, vMix, or dedicated broadcast hardware — can connect directly using the RTMP URL and Channel ID from Event Streams.

  Because events are reusable, this connection is typically configured once and stays in place for every future run of the event — you won't need to reconnect your source each time.

### **Preview before going live**

Once your source is connected, use the live preview on the Configuration Page to confirm audio and video are coming through correctly.
