# Files Tab

The Files tab is the room's media library. Upload assets before or during a session, organize them into folders and playlists, and present them to participants directly from the room. Files persist between sessions — everything you upload stays in the room until you remove it.

It is available from both the Side Panel during a live session and from the room on the homepage. Most management actions work the same in both contexts.

  **Persistent by design:** like every part of a Coresee room, the Files tab isn't tied to a single session. What you upload today is still there the next time the room is used.

## **Browsing, search & sort**

The file browser lists everything in the room — folders, individual files, and playlists (playlists are also reachable from their own subtab).

### **Search**

Click the search icon in the Files tab to expand the search bar, then type the name of the file you're looking for. Clear the search by clicking the close icon inside the bar.

### **Sort**

Click the sort icon to open a dropdown and choose how the file list is ordered — by name, upload date, or file type.
