# Uploading Files

Upload files to the room before or during a session. Uploaded files are available to all participants in the room and persist between sessions.

  File uploads in Coresee Rooms are available to the host and all co-hosts. Participants can browse and download files already in the room, but cannot add new ones.

    You may also drag and drop the file directly on the tab!

  <Step title="Choose Upload Files or Upload Folder">
    Upload Files lets you select one or more individual files from your device. Upload Folder uploads an entire folder and its contents at once, preserving the folder structure in the room.

  The upload will start automatically. You can monitor its progress in the **Uploads** section of the top bar. Once the upload is complete, the file will appear in your room.
