# Chat

Chat lets you share links, ask questions, and talk to people without interrupting the session. Coresee rooms support two types of chat, both available to everyone in the room regardless of role.

It is accessible from the side panel inside a room.

      A shared conversation visible to everyone currently in the room. Messages appear with the sender's name and timestamp.

      A one-on-one thread between you and another participant. Only the two of you can see it — it never appears in room chat.
